The Carole A. Berk, Ltd Gallery opened in the late 80s in Bethesda, MD and specialized in 20th Century Decorative Art. Carole was the foremost dealer in Clarice Cliff pottery, Keith Murray pottery and other English designers. In addition she specialized in Mexican silver from Taxco circa 1930-70. In 1994 she co-authored the book Mexican Silver, published by Schiffer. The book is now in its 4th printing. Her collections also included Bakelite, rattan furniture, English glass and other European decorative art.
